Land Entitlement: Typically, KDG purchases raw land that is not entitled for a specific project.  As a result, KDG has become an expert in working with design professionals and various government agencies to quickly design and entitle raw land into buildable lots. These activities include making sure the property is zoned for the highest and best use, bringing all utilities to the parcel, working with engineers to ensure proper parcelization, etc.  KDG keeps inventory of entitled land for future construction and/or sale of these fully entitled parcels.
Industrial: KDG has grown through design and construction of many industrial/warehouse buildings throughout Southern California. Commonly constructed as concrete tilt up buildings, these structures range from 5,000 square foot single buildings to entire businesses park projects exceeding 200,000 square feet. The buildings are typically available for sale or lease.
Retail: Over the past decade, KDG has become more involved in the retail market. Retail projects constructed by KDG exceed the highest industry standards and are located in exceptional consumer friendly locations. KDG focuses on the design and construction of each retail building to ensure ease of use for property managers and building tenants.
Office: Emphasizing highly functional design, KDG’s office projects range from small office condominiums to large corporate office buildings. Typically built of steel, wood or concrete tilt up, KDG office projects also range in construction type. 
Build to Suit: In addition to development services, KDG offers a ‘build to suit’ program that allows clients to request general building location and desired specifications.  KDG researches possible project locations suitable for the client’s building type and creates project budgets during early stages, providing the client with a high level of service, information, and options throughout the project.

By pairing our knowledge and experience in commercial development with expertise in overseeing all aspects of construction, our highly respected general contractors plan and coordinate construction of “ground up”, tenant improvement and redevelopment projects.

Ground Up Construction: KDG Investments provides a turn key type of management, overseeing all aspects of construction until the product is ready for occupancy. These services include reviewing designs for proper and cost efficient issues, establishing early budgets, working with subcontractors to obtain proposals for the work to be performed, establishing final budgets, selecting the appropriate subcontractors, overseeing subcontractors, working with the City and governing agencies during construction to obtain the appropriate certificates of occupancy. 
Tenant Improvements and Redevelopment: KDG Investments also offers its construction management services to design and oversee the build out of tenant improvements and commercial office remodels. Services offered include: overseeing the design, working with the City to pull appropriate permits, establishing a budget, selecting the appropriate subcontractors, and ensuring work is Code compliant.
